THE CAST: Learn more about the cast of the show

KEVIN

Kevin Rolston grew up in a very conservative household in a small town in Southeastern Ohio. Hid Dad is an attorney; his mother is a school teacher; and they are both heavily involved in their local church. Despite all of this innocence, Kevin was somehow corrupted as a youth. He was constantly in trouble at school; he smoked; he drank; he got bad grades and he had a mullet!

Kevin continued his rebellion out of high school and into college, when he enrolled at the #1 party school in the nation, Ohio University. After perfecting his keg stand, Kevin found radio and purpose in life. From there, Kevin moved to New York City (WHTZ), Fresno, California (KTHT & KDON), Kansas City (KMXV) and now, West Palm Beach (WLDI).

Today, Kevin has come full-circle. He is a married father of three, who spends most of his free time at church and little league games. Now, his biggest fear is that his children will grow up being the same way he was… just hopefully, without the mullet.

VIRGINIA

Virginia Lang grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana and is a true southern girl. She attended LSU, before working in Huntsville, Alabama and Biloxi, Mississippi. She also spent some time at WMXV in New York City before joining Kevin in West Palm Beach.

Virginia says, “I was about to accept a job in my hometown of New Orleans, working on the station I grew up listening to, WEZB, when Kevin called. I can’t really say what made me know he was the one, but I just did. The job in New Orleans paid more, and would have been an easier transition but there was just something about the chemistry we had on the phone that made me want to work with him. Now, almost 10 years later I still feel that same way I did when I moved here sight unseen.”

During her years in West Palm, Virginia has gone from a hard-partying single girl, to a hard-partying mother. She has an adorable little girl, named Magnolia, who loves a microphone and is often featured on the show. Virginia enjoys shopping, going out with the girls, yummy food and spending time with her boyfriend (who is also named Kevin).

JASON

Jason Pennington could be a clinical study for being a product of your environment. Jason’s Mom was an agoraphobe – basically, someone who is afraid of everything in the world. In fact, she was so afraid of the world that she never ventured out into it. And as a child, Jason didn’t either. While most kids were outside playing or watching cartoons, Jason was home, in front of the TV, watching documentaries on Jeffrey Dahmer. To re-emphasize that the world was a scary place, Jason’s Mom would also quiz him on abducted children. To this day, Jason can still tell you the short life history of kids who were never found!

As a result of his childhood, Jason has developed some fun phobias for himself. He is deathly afraid of heights and is also afraid of tall buildings. Jason is also very suspicious of the government and is convinced that they are hiding alien bodies from the American public. Not surprisingly, Jason is also a Bigfoot enthusiast and has even remodeled his room to resemble the exact habitat of the American Sasquatch.

One benefit of being a shut-in as a child is Jason’s encyclopedic knowledge of 80’s movies. Much of his own personal philosophy on life has been shaped by the on-screen wisdom of the brilliant Mr. Miyagi, Yoda and Patrick Swayze.

Now in his 30’s, Jason still has a childlike innocence not seen by anyone over the age of 8. Before getting into radio, Jason was a baseball camp instructor, who went by the name of Coach Chicken Tender.

His level of innocence might also mirror that of his level of responsibility, as Jason is constantly losing his license, his debit card, his keys and even his truck (no lie; it was missing for two months). However, Jason’s personal inconvenience and pain has lead to some unforgettable moments on the radio. And do the listeners really care about his pain if they’re laughing?
